The Bristol Bay red king crab harvest = 8.6 million pounds, similar to last year
Tanner Crab reopens – 3.1 million pounds
St. Matt’s and the Pribilof regions are closed
Numbers for opilio (snow crab) will be out next week.
Note: Due to the shutdown of the federal government, NMFS has announced that issuance of individual fishing and processing quotas (IFQ and IPQ) may be delayed.
