Ak Airline pilot delivers first Copper River king salmon to Seattle

” So far Copper River Seafoods has announced $3.50 for socks and $6.00 for kings. It is a very slow day to say the least. Even with the warmer environmental conditions we had this spring I think were are in front of the run. I just hope we stay on the trend return we have been enjoying of the recent years. Well, it is the first period and we have to get a few more to see the trend for this year. Hope it is and stays good for awihle. There is alot of over capitalization going on in the PWS fleet again.”

Prices last year started at $4 for reds; $6-$7 for kings.
